2001 Jeep Cherokee P0455 EVAP Code
I have a 2001 Jeep Cherokee that while I am driving it, the speedometer and tachometer gauges drop to the bottom, and come back again after a while. This keeps going on and off. I am getting a display on the tripometer NO BUS. but nothing seems to affect the performance because it still runs well.

2002 Ford Escort ES System Lean Code Engine Light Problem?
My question is about a check engine light. I got the code pulled and its saying the system is too lean, I have a 2002 Ford Escort ES edition. Its not a oxygen sensor because the last mechanic I brought it too replaced that and its still on. Can you help?

Check Engine Light Comes On 2003 Toyota Camry
My check engine light came on a few weeks ago. I took it to my normal repair shop and was told the computer data said it was the catalytic converter. I was told however that sometimes the computer reads this wrong and just needs to be reset, which is less expensive.

1987 Oldsmobile Ciera Check Engine Light On & Runs Bad
I have an 1987 Olds Cutlass Ciera that used to stall only when stopped, but now cuts out whenever I'm not actively pressing the gas pedal. The check engine light, that the last mechanic to work on my car told me was on only because I needed to change the spark plug wires, comes on within 20 secs of starting car. I also have to gas while starting now to get it running. It may or may not rev high for a time while idling. I have changed plugs and wires. Can you point me in the right direction?

2000 Ford Taurus Check Engine Light on - Code Po171 and P0 174
hello there, I have a 2000 ford Taurus, check engine light on. I have checked data link codes and an getting codes "po171 and po174 system too lean bank 1 and bank 2". Is it time for a fuel pump? or how do I tell if its the pump or one of the sensors? thanks for your time.

2001 Hyundai Sonata Check Engine Light On Transmission Shifts Hard
I have a 2001 Hyundai Sonata with 152,000. I have had regular maintenance done on it. When it does make the hard shift, the Check Engine Light will come on and the car seems like it is driving in the wrong gear.

1997 Buick LeSabre Check Engine Light On
I have a 1997 Buick LeSabre. Its check engine light just recently came on. It had been driving fine until one day while I was driving it started to jerk a little and stop and then jerk some more and then that's when I saw the engine light come on.

I drive a 2004 Oldsmobile Alero. My check engine soon light came on. What does this mean? I only have 70,000 miles on this car. I have never had to do anything but get the oil changed. When I press my brakes, I feel vibration and a humming sound.

I have a 1994 Buick LeSabre. It has been taken care of since its birth. Oil changes no later than 5000 miles, fluids in check, etc. All minor maintenance was done as soon as needed.

1996 Chevrolet 1500 Pickup Code 301 and 1406 Errors
I have a 1996 Chevrolet 1500 Pickup 4x4. It has the 5.7 with auto tranny. I keep getting the check engine light. When I run the scanner on it, it comes up with a code 1406 and sometimes a 301. The 1406 is always on there after I clear the code it usually comes back within 10 or so miles.

1998 Ford Escort ZX2 Check Engine Light Comes On
I have a 1998 Ford Escort ZX2 (5-speed Manual). Intermittently, when I hit a bump on the highway my "Check Engine Light" goes on for a moment and the engine feels like it downshifting and the momentum of the car "pulls back". Then almost immediately, the light goes off and the car drives like normal.

1999 Ford Windstar Check Engine Light On
I have a 1999 Ford Windstar LX with 99K. It is a 3.8 V6 with auto trans and twice during the past 5 years the check engine light has come on and the dealer replaced the O-ring seals on the intake manifold including replacing the front valve cover and PVC hose to cure the problem.

2001 Pontiac Grand Am Check Engine Light Comes On
I have a 2001 Pontiac Grand Am. They say I need to have the gas vacuum hose replaced and that is what is causing my engine light to come on. I just had it in for replacement of electrical sensor chip and 3 hours of diagnostics to find this out. Why didn't the diagnostics show the hose problem at the same time? Am I just getting ripped off?

1998 Plymouth Voyager Red Oil Light On Dash Came On
I have a 1998 Plymouth voyager. Recently the red oil light on the top of the dash next to the brake light would come on when I would come to a stop and would start chiming. Once I started driving again the light and noise would go away. I am thinking maybe I have a bad oil sending device. What are your thoughts? The car has 132000 miles.

1997 Ford Truck Engine Miss and Check Engine Light On
I'm hoping you can help me. My truck (97 Ford F150 2wd 6cyl w/ 75,000mi) has been hesitating, and last week, it misfired and set off my check engine light. I replaced the plugs and wires (It has coils, not cap and rotor) and erased the code to reset the check engine light. The plugs were worn, and one wire had been damaged pretty badly, so I figured that had been the problem. It seemed like it was running fine at first, but then as I pushed it hard to climb a hill it began missing again, and the check engine light came back on. I check all the connections, and everything seems secure. I don't know what else it could be. It seems to run smooth until I have to accelerate quickly, or climb a hill. Any ideas on what to try next?

1996 Chrysler LHS Check Engine Light On - Code 66 PCM?
I have a 1996 Chrysler LHS. My check engine light came on and the code that came up was 66 meaning PCM is not receiving CCD Bus signals. I know what PCM means but cannot find anything that mentions CCD Bus signals. Can you help?

1994 Buick Lesabre Dies While Driving - Check Engine Light is On
I have a 1994 Buick LeSabre Custom whit 66K on it. I had been off the road for two years (although it was started weekly and driven bi-weekly) before I put it on the road in March 2006. While off the road, it had a difficulty starting periodically. My mechanic replaced the Mass airflow sensor and the security chip (that interrogates the chip on the key before turning on the fuel pump).

1997 Dodge Grand Voyager Check Engine Light Comes on
My 1997 Grand Voyager Rallye is great, except one major un-findable problem: It cuts out (no, it does not stall completely, except when I slow down to a stop or at a red light) during driving. The CHECK ENGINE SOON light comes on for just an instant, then goes out again as the van continues driving.

1998 Subaru Forrester Check Engine Light is On
I filled gas in my car last Monday and on Tuesday evening on my way home, my check engine light came on. I ran the car for 4 days after that and it is still on. Everything is working fine, the engine sounds good too. It is a 1998 Subaru Forrester stick shift with about 103000 miles on it. I spoke to the dealers and they said that maybe I might have not tightened the fuel tank cap properly and so the light came on but what worries me is that the light is not going off. I drive it for about 12 to 15 miles a day or 20 miles max a day.

I own a 1999 ford expoditaion with 80,000 I am a 24 year kid who owns this suv for 3 yesrs now i do beat on it its a 8 cly ... i have changes one of my coil packs and it seem like its doing this again idle all messed up hesatint on gas i my check engine light is on my question to u i filled up my gas the night before all this probkem started could it be bad gas now i have a warnety on the truck dont know if coverd had to call and ask but should i let it run out of gas and but hi oxtain in it or bring it in asap

1999 Honda Accord Check Engine Light and EGR Valve Code
I have a 1999 Honda Accord and the check engine light seems to not want to stay off. I have taken it to the mechanics and the code that comes up is the code stating the EGR valve is bad. This would all be fine if the solution was simply replace the valve, but after replacing the EGR valve the light still comes on after several miles of driving. The weirdest thing is that all summer the light was not on, and since September the light has been on. The code is always the same, so now I am wondering if black electrical tape is the solution or could there be some other meaning to a bad EGR valve code. The engine sounds fine and the car doesn't seem to drive any different than it did before the light came on. Any suggestions other than ripping the dash apart and removing the light is greatly appreciated.
