2007 Cadillac XLR Roadster

I really like the looks of the sporty Cadillac XLR. The incredible power-retractable hardtop roof looks great up or down with the touch of a button. The front bucket seats have leather seating surfaces, 8-way power driver and passenger seat adjusters, adjustable upper and lower lumbar control, easy-exit seat position and cooled and heated seat cushions and seatbacks.

Another great comfort feature is the dual-zone automatic with individual climate settings for driver and right-front passenger. I was a little dissapointed at feeling cramped when I tried out the driver’s seat. I also didn’t feel like I had a sufficient view out of the windshield, but it could be a better fit for someone else.


The XLR definitely has all the features you would expect from Cadillac. The integrated audio system includes an AM/FM stereo with 6-disc in-dash CD changer and DVD-based navigation; digital clock; RDS; TheftLock; weather band; 6.5" LCD color display touch-screen; voice recognition; and Bose® premium 9-speaker system
XM Satellite Radio.


For utmost convenience Cadillac includes keyless entry with 2 remote transmitters that enable automatic door unlock and open by touching door switch and 2 driver "presets" for power driver seat, outside mirrors with parallel park assist, steering column, climate control, audio system and Driver Information Center.



The XLR has many extra features for safety and convenience:

-Adaptive Cruise Control uses a sophisticated radar transceiver to automatically adjust speed to maintain preset following distance, with telltale in Head-Up Display

Passenger-sensing System for driver and right-front passenger (side-impact airbags include head and thorax protection
