I towed it to the mechanic and everything seems fine including the sensors. The mechanic gave up and could not tell me what is wrong with my baby.

Did Mechanic Kill My Mercedes Diesel Engine?

Help! I have a car, a diesel, which recently had the valves and rings replaced. The problems were burning oil and poor starting during cold mornings due to poor compression. One of the valves was loud after the job was complete, and I complained 3 times to the mechanic that something was wrong. “No, that’s normal in a diesel” he assured me each time.

1994 Pontiac Sunbird Engine Quits Running Somtimes

I’m working on a 1994 Pontiac Sunbird that quit running while the owner was driving down the road. At one point the car turned over and since then it will not turn over and there is no spark. I’ve replaced the ignition coil/module, crankshaft sensor and the computer. It still has no spark. I did put used parts on and thought maybe one may be bad but I’m not sure how to check each piece I put on to see if it’s good. I asked an automotive shop but they said you can’t check them. If there’s anything else I can do could you please let me know.

1991 Honda Civic DX Engine Shakes at Idle

I drive a 1991 Honda Civic DX sedan, and I was wondering if its common with this vehicle to vibrate at stoplights or in park. If its not, is it possible for a DIY’er to fix it?

2008 Toyota Camry Failed NJ State Vehicle Emissions Test

I have a question regarding my new Toyota Camry (2008) I recently asked for motor inspection because I moved to different state (NJ). My Vehicle Emission Test failed and reason given to me was that my car do not have enough mileage to come up in their system to measure emission (only 2500 miles). Mechanic asked me to complete at least 3500 miles minimum to retest.

Oil Leaking 1999 Chevy S10 Pickup – Rear Main Seal?

I own a 1999 Chevrolet S-10 pickup with approximately 115,000 miles on it. I noticed an oil leak and If I’m correct its coming from the rear main oil seal. What do you think is the estimated cost and time of repair? If I choose to have this done do you recommend anything else that should be replaced since the transmission will be removed.
