Honda Accord Brake Light Switch Failures

I have an automatic 1999 Honda Accord. In 2002 I had to have the brake light switch replaced because the little silver knob on the shifter would not depress so that I could put it into gear.

Blown Head Gasket? – 2001 Chevy Cavalier Overheats

My 2001 Chevy cavalier needs head gasket repair, at least that’s what the mechanic said. I replaced the water pump and fan motor but the water reservoir continued to be empty almost immediately, I could drive around the corner and the reservoir would be empty. Then the car would begin to run hot.

Brake Noise When Turning 97 Nissan Pickup

Hello, I have a 1997 Nissan pickup and whenever I seem to turn to the right the driver side front brake makes a squalling sound. Its starting to bug me now. When I put the brakes on the sound seems to go away.

Pontiac Fiero Overheats – Oil Leak and Engine Damage?

I purchase a 1986 Pontiac Fiero 2.5 engine and 5 speed Manual from the dealership I was working at for $200.00 in 2004. They said the had been siting there for at least a year. I installed a new battery and prime the throttle body and started it right up. Drove around the block then started restoring it at the dealership in my spare time.

Auto Mechanic Scam?

Any comments about an auto repair shop selling your car when the repair bill will exceed the value of the car? I had a 1997 Mazda MX-6, 120K miles, that stopped dead. I thought it was a transmission fluid leak. It turned out to be a “fried” computer, and the computer had to be ordered from CA or a junkyard. The bill was up to $600 before the replacement computer costs.

1994 Dodge Caravan Engine Surges At Low Speeds

I have a 1994 Caravan with a 3.0 L engine which does not maintain RPMs at slow speed, about 50 km/hr. The pulsing is mild but noticeable. There are no issues at other speeds.
What should I check to correct the problem?

Pontiac Grand Prix Dual AC Climate Control Problem

I have a 1999 Pontiac Grand Prix Daytona Pace car. I have a problem with the dual climate control. When I start the car for the first time in the morning the digital readout shows the outside temperature reading almost in the freezing area when the actual temperature is in the 90s.

1995 Geo Engine Will Not Start – Fuel Injector Not Working?

How do you check the injector, when visually there is no fuel streaming from it.? I’m afraid to unscrew a Phillips screws securing the injector, as they are extremely tight and I may mess the Phillips screw head up
