1997 Nissan Altima GXE
I have a 1997 Nissan Altima GXE with about 145k on it. I noticed driving off from a light shifting from 1st gear to 2nd it shifts very hard and jerks but runs well and have no other issues.

2000 Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS
My 2000 Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS "shudders" when going up hill or accelerating hard. You can let off of the accelerator and ease back on it and it runs fine. My mechanic says that it does not need a tune up but is possibly the valve body on the transmission.

I have a 1997 GMC Yukon 2DR with a 350 and auto transmission, and about 130,000 miles. I have noticed two problems. The first is that the idle is a bit rough, and sometimes when I shift into reverse from park, the engine dies.

I have a 2000 Buick Century that is acting funny. When I first start car I am able to drive reverse whichever gear I need. Once I drive for a while and stop at a light or something it does not want to go in gear car is still running but will not catch any gear.

1996 Pontiac Firebird
My son's 1996 Pontiac Firebird needs a rebuilt transmission, which is covered under our after-market warranty. However, the shop is recommending that we pay out of pocket for a new transmission cooler and a cooling system flush, which are not covered. Are these necessary?

My 1992 Chevy Step Van P-30 5.7L Auto Trans AC engine will not reach operating temperature. I have already changed thermostat. 195 Stant Superstat. Coolant condition is ok. I have checked fan clutch turned freely engine cold and warm. No codes stored, only 12 displays.

1998 Plymouth Neon Automatic
I have 1998 Plymouth Neon Automatic. When I "gun it", the transmission ends up not auto up shifting at the correct speeds. I do not have a tachometer, so I do not know the RPM, but the auto up shift into second and third gears wind out and will not upshift properly.

2001 Chevrolet 1500 Truck - Automatic Transmission Jerks
My 2001 Chevy 1500 with an automatic transmission does fine until you get to 41 mph where it shifts to overdrive I guess. The RPM drop to 1100, when you speed up slowly to say 45, 46 mph it "bumps" real bad several times. I changed the fluid and filter 6 months ago at 50,000 but this has not helped. Do you have any advice?

BMW 320i E-CB20 Japanese Model Transmission Problem?
I have a BMW 320i E-CB20 Japanese model. Whenever the car is cold and I put it in drive, it will not move until the car gets to its normal working temperature. I have drained the transmission fluid, cleaned the filter and it still does the same thing. Please help me as I am trying to get a repair kit or a transmission that could fit. Please let me know.

2000 Jeep Wrangler Sahara Automatic Transmission
I have a 2000 Jeep Wrangler Sahara edition with an automatic transmission. It has 92,000 miles on it. I have changed the filter and fluid twice since I have had it. I bought it at 30,000 miles. It has had small amounts of metal in the pan (magnet). Is this normal or am I looking at rebuilding it (transmission) soon? I keep a close watch on fluids. It is always at the correct level.

1999 Nissan Altima Automatic Transmission Will Not Reverse
My 1999 Nissan Altima 30,000 miles on it its my Uncles well taken care of car and it will not go in reverse,it will go in reverse after it is in park, it will back up prefect,tight, no slipping. but after you are in drive sometimes you lose reverse? And it seems the cold has something to do with it. I looked at the transmission fluid, it is full and not burnt?
