1997 Jeep wrangler 2.4L
I have a 1997 Jeep wrangler 2.4L engine. Engine is rebuilt new thermostat, new radiator new hoses. There is no water in oil, no white smoke, no apparent leaking of coolant or water out the tail pipe.

I own a 1999 Chevrolet S-10 Pickup with approximately 115,000 miles on it. I noticed an oil leak and if I am correct, it is coming from the rear main oil seal.

1995 Chevrolet Truck
I have a 1995 Chevy truck that runs great but I think it has a coolant leak, because its overflow box is always empty. I frequently stop in at Kwik Lube to have my water level checked, and they always add coolant to my overflow box.

1998 Toyota Camry LE
My 1998 Toyota Camry LE needs a state inspection and oil change so I made an appointment with Firestone Shop. Then they called me my headlight is not straight, it need to corrected for pass the inspection, they also told me I need replace brake shoes, although I don't have to do that now for passing the inspection, they said it would need replace soon.

I have a 1998 Nissan Sentra with 78,000 miles. A few months ago, I noticed that my coolant reservoir was empty and I filled it up. Three weeks later, it was back to empty position.

1998 Chevrolet Cavalier Z24 - What is Fair Price for a New Water Pump?
My daughter has a 1998 Chevy Cavalier, Z2. For some time now, it has had a slow coolant leak. Upon taking it into a local repair shop, they say that her water pump is leaking and will have to be replaced and the cost will be $600.00! Is this price reasonable?

1999 Subaru Forester - Coolant Leak in the Radiator Hose?
My daughter drives a 1999 Subaru Forester. I insisted she check her antifreeze level prior to the gold weather and she stated it was mixed to -40. I also questioned her about using straight antifreeze or mixing with water. She insisted that there was a mix. She started the car and warmed it for about 20 minutes (I know, it is too long). She started to work when steam came from under the hood. She said that the overflow tank lid burst open and spewed antifreeze all over (her words). She waited a few minutes and started the car. She said that the heater took "forever to warm back up". I ask your opinion.

1997 Toyota Camry LE 4Cyl - Oil Leak
My 1997 Toyota Camry LE 4Cyl with 130K miles has a substantial oil leak, which appeared to be coming from the oil pan gasket. I replaced the gasket. It still leaks from same location. I replaced gasket again. It is the same thing, it still leaks. The oil is descending from above the oil pan and appears to be coming from the pan, but not. It is near the right rear corner of the pan (viewing from back to front), just right of the plug location. Is it the main bearing seal? Please help.

Valve Cover Leak On 2000 Pontiac Grand Prix
I drive a 2000 Pontiac Grand Prix gt a transverse engine (side mounted).i know the front valve cover is seeping but I think the rear is a leak.but I'm not sure the reason I believe it is, is that I smell a burning odor when its running and I noticed oil around the oil pan and running down the back of the motor I've had the rear main seal and oil pan gasket replaced a year ago.. what do you think?

I have a 1997 Chevy Lumina car with a 3.1. The transmission is losing fluid. I took it on a trip and kept having to ad fluid to get home..What areas are bad for leaking?? I am hoping it is not at the converter?

Toyota Hatchback Power Steering Fluid Leak - Mechanic is Scamming Me?
1987 Toyota Corolla hatchback 85,000 miles (I am original owner, so I know history of car). Power steering went bad about a year ago, had the rack/pinion and pump replaced. Steering was on and off for the 6-month warranty period, then got progressively worse, so that last month it made noise on every turn of the steering wheel. It did not make any noise going straight ahead, just on the turns. Also noticed a few drops under the car (power steering fluid). Brought it to another repair shop and they replaced the hose, said it did not need a new pump. Charged $145 for the hose, and 2 hours labor to replace the hose. Altogether $265, plus tax. When I drove the car away, however, it now made a constant whirring noise - going straight ahead, without even turning. This noise was NOT present when I brought it in. Brought it back to the shop, who now said they had to replace the power steering pump and wanted to charge $235 more. Somehow I felt like I was being taken for a ride (no pun intended).

Mercury Cougar - What Clear Fluid Could Be Leaking In The Rear?
I have a leak somewhere under the rear end of the car. The mechanic at the dealer garage said it was a transmission oil leak. The fluid seems to be mostly clear in that it doesn't have the appearance (on the ground) of any of the above. Do you have any ideas/suggestions?

What Causes Engine Noise in my 1993 Plymouth Laser
Hi, I own a 93 Plymouth Laser and there is an annoying clicking sound which sounds like its come from inside the engine itself. The clicking sound increases as the rpm's increase. People have told me it could be the valve (whatever that is) so could this be correct or can it be anything else?

I own a 2000 Dodge Grand Caravan with a 3.3L engine. This spring my wife was complaining that the motor was ticking. I figured that it was the lifters so I called my mechanic and set up an apointment. He called me later and told me the car was about 2 1/2 quarts low on oil and that I had 2500 miles since my last oil change. He asked the change the oil to see if that would help. He changed oil and the ticking went away.

Chevy Blazer Rear End Differential Diagnosis and Repair Advice
I recently bought a 1992 K Blazer with the 5.7/v8. The transimission was replaced recently, but there is a leak of tranny fluid, its a small one hardly anything on the ground, just wet on the bottom of the transmission. The vehicle shifts great though, and the engine still sounds really strong. That is a minor problem. When I bought it, the guy told me that the garage had put an s10 ujoint in mistakenly instead of a full size. The reason I asked him is when I drove it, there is a whirring sound from the rear. My roommate is very car knowledgeable, and after running it at 80 mph on the highway for a jaunt yesterday, he swears the rear differential is going out.
