2003 Chevy railblazer Has Check Engine Light On - Code PO442
We have had the very same problem as Amanda, in one of your other postings. We have a 2003 Chevy Trailblazer with 60,000 or so miles. The check engine light came on. We hooked up an analyzer on our own and it gave us a reading of P0442 that indicated that it was emission control small leak. We changed our fuel cap and fuel filter. Several days later the check engine light came on again. Guarantee is out and would like to do the job ourselves.

2000 Nissan Lima Altima Service Soon Light Is On
I have a Nissan Lima 2000 (Altima) the radio wouldn't shut off and now today the service light came on we took it the Nissan dealer and they ran it on the computer and it told them it was, trace vehicle down to wiring between ecm and pu rge valve and so they said they really didn't no what was wrong with that they charge us $96.09 and told us to bring it back on Wednesday, and now it smells like burning wiring would you have any idea's what is wrong? Can Adding too Much Gas to My Car Cause the Check Engine Light to Come on?
I have a customer who is complaining that she had to get her car repaired because she had a "check engine" light on after pumping gas at our facility. She complains that this "Check engine" light came on because she had overflow of gas from her tank while she was pumping gas at our facility due to a defective nozzle.

Ford Expedition Check Engine Light On - Faulty Oxygen Sensors?
I have a 1997 Ford Expedition and we replaced all 4 of the O2 sensors this spring (one at a time) and now they are all bad again. What can cause them to go bad? My engine is "boggy" when in the idle position, especially when air conditioner is on. Should I address this immediately?

2003 Nissan Pathfinder Yellow Check Engine Light Comes On
I have 2003 model Nissan Pathfinder (Pathy) 77.000 km milleage (I stay in Gulf area). Just a week ago I did routine maintenance for my pathy.I change engine oil,automatic oil,gear oil,fan belt and also I changed silinder haed gasket due to small leakage.But after I run for 70 km this yellow ligth indicator ( check engine ligh) coming on even I start and again off my car several times.Dear reader please advise me what happen to my pathy, what I shuold do and can I use my car as normal condition?

2001 Nissan Maxima Check Engine Light Comes On and Off
I have a Nissan Maximan 2001, in fairly good condition, the maintainance always have been done on schedule... We have been having troubles with the check engine soon ligth in my car since last year, (is an orange ligth). The first time this happened was the air flow meter(7/7/05), after replace it it was good till this year when the problem started again, first time in March, the code indicated the O2 sensor, it was replaced and the ligth went off, then April, the code was for the neutral position switch, again replaced it, the ligth went off, now the code read the catalist converter, in this oportunity they reset the computer and the ligth was off for 15 days till today, when it turned on again.

Nissan Maxima Check Engine Light Comes On Then Goes Off
I have a 1999 Nissan Maxima with 106,000 miles. For about a year now, the service engine soon light (yellow indicator) has been coming on and staying on for a month or so, then goes off for several weeks before coming back on again. The car drives fine and seems to have no symptoms of a problem. When it first happened, I took the car to my mechanic, with whom I've done business for 20 years and trust very much. He told me he hooked the car up to the computer, but got no codes to indicate anything was wrong. He said not to be concerned unless the light started blinking. Do you know if this is a common problem among Maximas? As I said, I trust my mechanic, but I'm still concerned when I drive the car long distances. What's your advice?

Check Engine Light Continues to Come on In my Buick Rivieria - why?
I have a 1995 Supercharged Buick Riviera. I have had the fuel pump, transmission, brake module, radiator, water pump, fuel regulator, powertrain modulle,replaced and other things I am sure. the car has 143,000 miles on it so I would expect these things to go wrong. Recently I have had the EGR valve replaced and the mechanic told me that the service engine soon light would still come on but he was not sure. He told me that my car stored a trouble code that there was no code for. He said the engine light might go on and it may not.

My 2000 Nissan Altima check engine light came on and I had the oxygen sensor and the catyltic converters replaced...but the check engine light still comes on. What else can cause this to happen?

My car failed the emission test so I had the catalytic converter replaced, but the check engine light still comes on and then goes off. Somtimes the check engine light will not come on at all. Does this mean I need to have the light re-programmed?

2003 Chevy Trailblazer Check Engine Light On After Fuel Tank Replaced By Dealership - What Now?
My 2003 Chevy Trailblazer check engine light has been coming on. The dealership replaced the fuel tank for $1,000, but that did not correct the problem. Now there is a noise that was not there before and they say it is a bad fan clutch. Could they have done damage to the clutch?
