My Vehicle Emission Test failed and reason given to me was that my car do not have enough mileage to come up in their system to measure emission (only 2500 miles). Mechanic asked me to complete at least 3500 miles minimum to retest.

Which Side Of the Car Is Your Fuel Door Is On?
Quick question, which side of your car is your gas tank on? If you are anything like me, you probably can't remember right away. My solution is to uncomfortably stick my head out the window, strain my neck and look. If you don't do this in your own car you definitely have done it in a borrowed or rental car.

How Can I Save Gas In My Car?
A guy I know was saying how he thinks he can save on gas by turning the engine off when going downhill and coast without polluting at the same time. As for myself I sometimes turn the engine off when in the line up of a long red light or in the drive through for these reasons although it's not significant money saved.

Water In Fuel Tank Causing Fuel Pump Damage?
Firstly, when I looked you up to ask you the following question, I sincerely didn't expect to get an auto insurance ad.I did the darn thing tho' and, after I do a thorough check of their customer's satisfaction thru the normal avenues, I think I might actually switch to Encompass. I think I might save about $1100 a year and maybe more when my daughter gets her permit because they don't charge for permitted drivers; they just need to know they are driving! Trust me, this is a phenomenon I've never seen and I've been with 3 insurance companies over the last 27 years and checked into I don't know how many others. Obviously, I bookmarked a lot of pages to show my wife. Anyway, onto my question, which I can honestly say, I'm not sure has been addressed in much depth. I have spent........... I don't know, I would guess 12 to 15 hours researching before I finally gave up. The problem I have is that, for reasons I need not go into here, the level of our company's delivery van's gasoline tank say that 3 times in a row real fast is kept low at all times. In the last 4 years I have been here, the engine, when extremely low on gas starts to rattle and doesn't stop until we fork over several hundreds of dollars each time to a mechanic. The fact that the check engine light and rattling begins when the fuel is either out or all but out, leads me to think that there is water in the tank due to all the reasons that water gets into tanks, blah, blah, blah.

98 Nissan Maxima Serpentine Fan Belt Noise
I am writing to ask for your assistance in helping me determine what is wrong with my car. The car is a 1998 Automatic Nissan Maxima with 100,000 miles. The problem I am having is a loud squealing noise when the engine turns over and while the AC is in use. However , recently the noise continues even while the AC is not in use. Sometimes the squealing will only last a few seconds and other times the squealing will last longer and will even become louder as the gas pedal is pressed.
