Reader Question
I have a 1997 ford mustang it is making loud noises when I turn especially. What usually causes this and how can it be resolved and is it dangerous?
Hi There
Could this be coming from the power steering pump? If the pump is low on fluid it will make a whine noise when you turn the wheels. I would first check the fluid level in the pump. The fluid should be pink in color….do NOT overfill it. Read the marks on the dipstick under the cap for instructions.
