Reader Question 1. Who are the lexus authorized paint shops in Houston

2. I have some minor paint touch up job for scrapes. What do u think is the fair price for this?

Hey there

To my knowledge the only real "Lexus authorized" paint shops are the Lexus dealerships, although some of the Lexus dealers might have agreements with a few independent body shops on the side.

You might want to visit your local detail shop first to see if the scratches can be compounded out. Touch up painting like that done with a touch up pencil or brush never really look very good unless your paint color is white. Some dealerships will sell the factory made touch up pens in their parts department for the do it yourself person. You might call a few dealerships and talk to their parts department.

Blessings,

Austin C. Davis
