2001 Toyota Avalon Engine Sludge Problem
We recently had our 2001 Toyota Avalon serviced by our local Toyota dealership for Engine sludge. 96,000 miles, and we had all necessary service and oil changes over the course of 7 years. This $3,000-$4,000 service was covered by Toyota due to a Class action suit back in 200-2001.

1999 Honda Accord Using Engine Oil - But No Exhaust Smoke?
I have an old Honda Accord, 1999 standard EX model. It's had a problem with oil for a number of years and no one seems to be able to find the cause.It's not burning it, no blue smoke under load or when revving the engine, and no white tail pipe. There are no drip spots under the car when parked. It seems to be most noticeable with highway driving however this could be due to the amount of time the engine is actually running as opposed the strain on the engine. The amount of oil is significant, up to 4 liters per 1000 km.

2000 Ford Estate - Ran Out of Engine Oil Now White Exhaust Smoke
I own a car Ford Estate 2.0lt 2000 I let the engine oil run out!! The Car still drives but it blows out a mass of white smoke!Is the engine ruined or any chance it could still be ok?

I have a 1994 mustang that is putting out white smoke and smells like gas. The he ground is like oil and gas mixed together. What gasket would I have to replace to fix the problem or is it something else.

1994 Infinity Q45 White Smoke Out Exhaust Sometime
I own a 1994 Infinity Q45. 170,000miles. Doesn't over heat. Everything works good. Every now-and-then when I push the car at about 65mph or greater for a long period of time, I notice a little bit of white smoke coming from exhaust.

Exhaust Fume Smell Inside My 2007 Toyota 4 Runner
My question is regarding my 2007 Toyota 4Runner. I try to be as specific as possible. On my Toyota I have a tailgate window that I can open all the way. The weather in Florida has been nice this time of year so I have been opening the tailgate window while driving.

Lots Of White Smoke Coming Out Exhaust Pipe - Why?
Hi. I just saw your website and I really hope you can help. Sorry if I'm wasting your time. I have a 1969 Chevy Impala. Had around 150,000 when I bought it. It blows out gray or white smoke when i hit the gas not sure if I'm at a standstill. Not a little smoke but not a lot. enough though that everyone notices it. Car dies at lights when I try to go mainly if the engine is cold once its hot no stalling or lagging whatsoever. One of my friends said it might be the piston rings. I have no idea. Thanks.

WOULD A BAD O2 SENSOR CAUSE MY CAR TO SMOKE FROM THE TAILPIPE? I REPLACED ALL GASKETS ON THE TOP END. PLEASE HELP, ANY ADVICE WILL BE GREATLY APPRECIATED.

2000 Reno Clio - Gray Smoke Out The Exhaust System
I read a number of articles about smoking exhausts, but would still like your opinion. I've just bought a reno Clio 2000 reg from an old lady, drove it away, but when I got on the motorway around 70 the exhaust began to smoke and it was a grayish colour it stopped after about 20 miles.

1994 Ford Taurus - Smoke Coming from Left Rear Tire

2000 Mazda Protégé - Exhaust Smoke
I just bought a 2000 Mazda Protégé for 3600 from a car dealer. From the first day that we started the car, there was a huge billow of smoke (I think it is white) from the exhaust. The dealer said that the car just needed an oil change.

1991 Toyota Camry – Overheat and Emits Smoke from the Exhaust
I have a 1991 Toyota Camry that has recently been overheating and occasionally emits smoke from the exhaust. This car has about 98,000 miles on it. We just replaced the distributor which I am not sure it really needed, and spark plugs.

2002 Lexus ES300
I am about to buy another car. I found a steal, I thought in a 2002 Lexus ES300 with approximately 77500 miles. It gave off heavy exhaust fumes the first time I cranked it and today when I cranked it again at the dealership, it gave off some profuse exhaust fumes but then in both situations it subsided and virtually went away.

2000 Honda Civic Oil and Water Dripping Out Exhaust Muffler
Hi, my friend has a 2000 Honda Civic 2 dr. and just today while the car was at an idle i noticed that the car was kind of spitting something out of the exhaust pipe.... I ran my finger threw it and it was oil. I looked under the car and it was dripping out of the muffler... it was a kind of mixture of oil and water....and I was looking on the internet to look for what causes that and I was thinking it was a bad gasket or seal but i wasn't sure. so I decided to ask you and see what you think?
