Reader Question One of my Injectors is not working. The Injector works fine. The wires(2) going to the Injector both have 13+ volts going through them and I get 13+ volts at the plug end both sides.

I took the other plug off another injector and plugged it in and it works fine. Could the Plug itself be the problem ? Thank you for your time on this matter.
Thanks Jon from Utah

Hi Jon,

I am not very familiar with that make and model, I have seen them but it’s been awhile. I would GUESS you have an injector issue; you can probably buy a cheap replacement and try it out.

I don’t know of any other tests you can do to prove it, but you might want to swap one of your other injectors to that cylinder just to make sure it is not a wiring or computer injector driver issue.

Blessings,

Austin Davis

Thank you for your time. I have resolved the problem. It was the driver in the ECU that was bad, causing the #4 cylinder injector not to pulse (2.5 volts). Replaced with Junk yard special, freebie ! Car running great. Thanks again for your time.

Respectfully Submitted,
Jon
