1992 Buick Century Engine Misses and Cuts Out On Freeway
I have a 92 Buick Century I just bought. When driving at cruise speed my car sputters after a half hour of driving, but does not when accelerating, decelerating, or at idle. I did not hear any strange noises such as popping from the engine or exhaust.

1997 Ford Taurus Engine Dies When Put Into Gear
I have a problem with duratec 6cyl with the engine stalling immediately when putting into gear. I have to wait about 10min until the engine get to full warm temp before can get it going. Computer test shows 8 error codes: p320, p0401, p1408, p1519, p1650, p1742, p1743, p1744. Once I get it running it periodically will surge while stopped at light.

1994 Pontiac Sunbird Engine Quits Running Somtimes
I'm working on a 1994 Pontiac Sunbird that quit running while the owner was driving down the road. At one point the car turned over and since then it will not turn over and there is no spark. I've replaced the ignition coil/module, crankshaft sensor and the computer. It still has no spark. I did put used parts on and thought maybe one may be bad but I'm not sure how to check each piece I put on to see if it's good. I asked an automotive shop but they said you can't check them. If there's anything else I can do could you please let me know.

1997 Dodge Intrepid Engine Misses and Runs Bad
My 97 Intrepid at 117k miles is showing these same symptoms. It's never stalled, however, and the symptoms only seem to occur at certain points in my commute which I will outline for you shortly and only at certain times of the year, late Fall and early Spring.

1994 Dodge Caravan Engine Surges At Low Speeds
I have a 1994 Caravan with a 3.0 L engine which does not maintain RPMs at slow speed, about 50 km/hr. The pulsing is mild but noticeable. There are no issues at other speeds.
What should I check to correct the problem?

1989 Chevy Camaro Runs Bad Idles Rough and Dies
I have been slowly trying to tune and perfect my newly purchased 1989 Chevy Camaro. I, personally, have limited knowledge of engines and vehicles, but many of my friends study the subject and seem to know what they are talking about. Unfortunatly they all have different opinions on what should be done. The main problem I have now is trouble getting it to start and I have to pump the gas pedal repeatedly. I know thats bad for my vehicle but just turning the key won't start it. It turns over fine, but it just won't start.

1968 Pontiac GTO 400 Engine Back Fire Out Tailpipe On Deceleration
I have a 68 GTO with a 1970 Pontiac 400 engine. I installed a new manifold on Holly 770 carburetor this winter. I have noticed that when driving at higher speeds >50mph and take my foot off the accelerator the car will backfire through the exhaust. I have read that it could be a multiply of causes and that timing could be one of them. What is your opinion on what it could be and the checks I can do to nail down the problem.

2004 Subaru Outback Ran Low On Oil Now Needs New Engine?
I have a 2004 Subaru Outback LLbean edition with a 6L Boxter engine. I always take it to the same local shop for my oil changes and minor repairs. I recently took the car to him to perform the 30K service. About a week after I got the car from him I noticed a knocking sound in the engine. Not being a mechanic at all, I wasn't sure what the sound was. Within a few days the check engine light came on, so I took the car to the dealership right away to see what was going on.

1993 Ford F150 Idle Surges Too Slow When Engine is Hot
I have a 1993 F150 5.0 2WD Automatic Transmission Ford truck. I am exasperated with this problem and cannot figure out the problem. Idle is fine for awhile and then slows after engine warm. Main problem is after engine warm, when it shifts 3rd and 4th gear it hesitates, shakes until I push down gas.

2002 Buick Regal Engine Runs Bad and Won't Get On Freeway
I have an 02 Buick Regal, that has been serviced regularly every 3000 miles oil changes etc, has 74,000 miles on it. Has been well cared for. I noticed yesterday afternoon that my car was acting funny about accelerating, getting on the freeway etc. It would cough or the RPMS would go up but the speedometer wouldn’t.

I have a 1991 Toyota Corolla that has had no mechanical issues that I am aware of. Suddenly in the last two days, I feel a kind of chugging or a stuttering. Especially when idling and accelerating but only when the car is in drive it feels like the car does not want to accelerate as quickly.

2001 Nissan Altima - Erratic Engine Idling Problem
I need help on my 2001 Nissan Altima 4-cylinder GXE 45K mi idling problem. During startup, I am getting high RPM about 1200-1300 RPM even after warm-up. When I rev it goes down to 800 RPM, the RPM or revs start to hunt up and down between 900 to 700 RPM. It does not stay to 800-RPM steady normal. So far, I change spark plug, wires. There is no engine code.

1993 Mercury Sable Wagon
I just purchased a 1993 Mercury Sable Wagon for US$700.00. The auto has 38,900 miles on it. I have changed the fluids. I just took the car on the expressway and found that when I accelerate over 70 mph the cars begins to shake. I do not know if it is the alignment or engine.
