Air Conditioner Not Cold In My Suzuki Grand Vitara - Just Hot Air
Hi I hope you can help as its really hot here in Florida. My Suzuki started blowing warm air. I went to put in a can of R134 and the gauge inline (on can ) said pressure on low side was 100..I know its suppose to be around 30-45 pounds also, the FREON would not go in.

2003 Hyundai Elantra Air Conditioner Not Cold Enough
I have a question for you would sure appreciate a good answer before I drop $1000 on a repair I have a 2003 Hyundai Elantra it has 63,000 miles lately the AC has been blowing warm air but it only does this when the temperature outside goes above about 75 degrees

A/C Compressor Will Not Come On 2005 Chrysler
My question is:A/C compressor not engaging , 2005 Town & Country mini van, The A/C light comes on in the van. I am not able to hear the A/C Compressor engaging when the button is turned on. The 15 amp fuse & relay are good in the fuse box under the hood. I checked the relay by using another one in the fuse box. This is the first time trying to use it this year. Last year it worked fine.

1999 Pontiac Grand Prix GTS Air Conditioner Problem
Ok well I just bought a 1999 Pontiac Grand Prix GTS and it came with Dual AC. Well when I turn the AC on the passenger side blows ice cold and the driver side blows warm if not hot. So I switch the heater on and it just reverses sides. No matter what I do with the settings it blows hot or cold on either side. When i bought the car the dealer said they had the AC fixed right before I bought it. Could a wire be crossed or something? A little help. Thanks!

Pontiac Grand Prix Dual AC Climate Control Problem
I have a 1999 Pontiac Grand Prix Daytona Pace car. I have a problem with the dual climate control. When I start the car for the first time in the morning the digital readout shows the outside temperature reading almost in the freezing area when the actual temperature is in the 90s.

2003 Cadillac Escalade AC Compressor Oil Charge Spec
I have a friend with a 2003 Cadillac Escalade esv we are trying to find out the correct oil charge for the whole system as well as just the compressor. It has rear ac as well. All I know is PAG 46 is the oil type it should use.

1992 Mitsubishi 3000GT AC Compressor Won't Come On
I have a 1992 Mitsubishi 3000GT SL on which I have just changed a re manufactured AC compressor new clutch along with a new dryer and an expansion valve, charged the system with 8 oz of oil needed for R134 and I also charged it to about 2 3rds of it's capacity.

1998 Jeep Cherokee Air Conditioner Not Cold Enough
AC on my 1998 Jeep Cherokee, 4L engine is not as cold as before, even at highway speed if there is significant sun load. Was going to add freon with store bought kit that had a gauge. When I checked low side pressure with gauge it read in the green (35psi) so I did not add freon. Using a good thermometer I could only get 67 degree air out the vent with 88 degree ambient temp and 55% humidity. AC on full at 1500 rpm. Should get 35-40 degree below ambient according to my Hanes manual Compressor stays engaged as long as cooling is called for. Any thoughts?

1997 Ford Explorer AC Not Cold Compressor Not Coming On?
I have a 1997 Ford Explorer with 120,500 miles. My truck sat unused for 5 days. My A/C has suddenly stopped cooling. I could not hear the compressor cycling, so my first thought was ‘low Freon.’ As I attempted to add Freon, the compressor began cycling again, but the system would not take very much Freon. The compressor began to cycle on and off,repeatedly. Still no cold air. What, in your opinion, could be the problem?

My Air Conditioner In My Chevy Truck Is Not As Cold As It Should Be
I have a 1990 Chevy truck 4x4, 5 speed, 4.3 engine. I cracked off my hi pressure switch, the a/c worked for 2 days then stopped. I took it in and they replaced it with an after market one, it has 2 wires on it , but they hooked up one cause my old one only had 1 wire.

2004 Chevy Silverado A/C Not Cold At Idle Speeds
Hi sir I have a 2004 Chevy Silverado. My A/C is cold when the vehicle is in motion but when stop and idol the a/c gets warm. I have taken it back to the dealership and they told me everything is fine. Why does the a/c get warm when I am idling? Otherwise the a/c works fine when driving. Is this an air flow problem? and how can I correct it?

2000 Chevy Pick Up Air Conditioner Quits Blowing Cold Air
I am having an a/c problem. I have a 2001 Cheve 2500 HD, extended cab truck with a 6.0 v8 and auto trans. The problem is that the a/c seems to cycle. It will start blowing cool air and run fine for awhile, then the cool air will stop. shortly the cool air will start again. The fan works fine, just the cool air stops.

2001 Pontiac Grand Prix A/C Not Cold On Passenger Side Only
I have a 2001 Pontiac Grand Prix. I have been having a problem with the air conditioning or should I say the heater control. During these hot, summer months when I try to use the A/C, I get hot air coming out of the drivers side vents while the passenger side is nice and cool.

Air Conditioner Not Cold 2001 Ford Explorer
It seems that recently my automatic climate control is working only on cold or hot. To get cold air I have to set the desired temp at 60. If I set on 70, the hot air starts, even the outside temp is 95.

2003 Dodge Dakota AC Blower High Speed Only
A friend has a 2003 Dodge Dakota. He called me this afternoon and told me that his AC only comes on in the when the fan is in the highest setting. Immediately, I thought it might be the switch. However, after researching it, I am learning that pressure in the system may also dictate if it will work.

2000 Dodge Neon - Air Conditioner Not Cold Enough
I have a question about my car 2000 Dodge Neon AC. I just had a major AC repair. The evaporator and compressor were fixed. My question is, when I stop in traffic of park, my AC almost stops cooling, and everything from smoke smell or whatever smells outside comes in. When I am driving without AC shut off, air keeps coming out of the vents, like there is some hole in the car.

I have a 2001 Ford Explorer and the AC is blowing hot air on the regular setting for AC and vents. The a/c max will blow cold. Checked Freon already and its fine.

1997 Dodge Ram Truck A/C Stops Blowing When I Accelerate
I have two vehicles a 1997 Dodge Ram Extra Cab pickup 5.9 engine and a 1998 dodge Ram Passenger Van 3500 also 5.9 engine. What happens is on acceleration in both vehicles the air stops blowing from the AC vents and starts blowing through the defrost vents once the vehicle is up to speed or the gas pedal is released the air goes back to the AC vents.

1991 Nissan NX 1600
My 1991 Nissan NX 1600 has a new compressor, blows ice-cold air under 50 MPH. Over 50 MPH it blows warm air, slow down, it gets cold again or stopping, etc.

2000 Plymouth Voyager A/C Defroster Not Working
We have a 2000 Plymouth Voyager SE with about 100,000 miles and running good. I need some help with this. When I switch the heating controls from floor to defrost to vent, there is no different sound coming from the unit. Most controls there will be a 2-second silent and then you will hear the cabin/air sound because you switched.

2000 Chevrolet ¾ Ton Pickup Defroster Not Working
My 2000 Chevrolet Pickup standard cab has a problem. The windshield defroster vents quit blowing cold air and heat. Air comes out of all other vents, just not the windshield defroster dash vents.
