2001 Chrysler Town and Country Minivan

Reader Question: I have a 2001 Chrysler Town and Country Minivan. Recently the Rear Windshield Wiper and Washer stopped working simultaneously.

I believe all the fuses are OK. Any ideas what would cause both of these to stop working at the same time?

Sean

Hey Sean,

If you are sure about the fuses, I would suspect a bad switch on the steering wheel or at least that is what I would test next.

I would also check to see if there is power AT the rear wiper motor, if not the switch is probably bad. If you do have power at the motor, the motor is probably bad.

Blessings,
Austin Davis

The key features that mark the 2001 Chrysler Town and Country are its all wheel drive, passenger and cargo room, interior storage space and entry/exit room. On the negative side of the car, it has low fuel economy rates. It is the upscale version of Dodge Grand Caravan model.
