Reader Question: My 1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4.0L 2-WD is having problem when putting in D. The car starts of on second gear but if I put it in low gear, it will start of in first.

I need help please.

Hey Anas,

You are going to need to talk with a transmission shop and have them take a test drive with you. I would suspect you have internal transmission problems but I am not a transmission mechanic.

DO NOT change the filter or do anything until you talk with the shop, you can actually do more harm than good by changing the filter in some cases.
